I established Wicked West Designs, a Colorado/Arizona based graphic design company, in 2008 with the belief that you should

I think I developed my creative side early on. I don't know that for a fact, but I say that anyways. I loved school projects, the kind that required glue guns and googly eyes, construction paper and colored pencils. I got my first taste at designing on the computer when I joined the yearbook staff in high school, and the rest is history, right? Not really!

After a year or more of debating between getting a teaching license or an interior design degree I decided to pursue journalism and equine science in college (at Colorado State University - Go Rams!). Over the last several years I've been blessed to work for some great magazines and still get to enjoy my other occupation as a freelance writer from time to time. Somewhere along the line I remembered how much I loved to use my creative side, and I've been pursuing web and graphic design ever since!

I think I have the best job in the world. I truly do get to do what I love. When I'm not staring at my computer screen, which I've been told I do too often, I'm usually on the go (i love road trips), and when there's a little more time in between I'd most like to be roping. Now, if it's too cold outside I'm probably not. I'm ashamed to say that I'm generally a FaiR wEatHeR CoWgiRl! But, If the sun's shining and the wind's not blowing too hard, then yes, I'm probably horseback... or walking with my dog, Tripp (a little corgi with a big attitude)... or spending time with my awesome family & friends... or exploring my photography skills (click below for a slideshow of my photos)! And that, makes a long story short.
